AVVIO and Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association Partner to Conduct Sales and Marketing Strategies Conference in Las Vegas

Las Vegas, NEVADA – AVVIO, an online booking engine and web analytics technology firm, today announced its partnership with the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association (NHLA) in conducting a marketing strategies conference aimed at keeping hotel marketing and revenue management teams up to speed on the latest in efficient, direct web-based marketing.  The “Tools To Develop Online Business” conference invites hotel, travel and marketing experts for a daylong discussion on the improved capabilities of online hotel booking engines and ROI-driven online marketing strategies.

The conference will be held February 28, 2012 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.  Notable travel experts will be on hand to speak with hospitality industry executives, professors, specialists and media.

“Now, more than ever, consumers of both vacation and business travel, research and shop online for the best hotel deals,” stated Brian Reeves, founder of AVVIO.  “At AVVIO, we focus on the science of converting these shoppers into bookers on the hotel’s own branded website. With the unprecedented website conversion rate our booking engine and analytics system return, we ensure our hotel clients drive channel shift and increase own-brand website business.”

The AVVIO technology analyzes customer search patterns and behavior on hotel websites and booking engines to dynamically re-package and better market hotels, increasing “looker to booker” conversion. Hotel websites convert business at a much higher rate, thus significantly reducing the dependency on OTA’s and the associated exorbitant commissions.

The first of the 45-minute sessions begins at 9:00 AM, and continues throughout the day bringing distinguished speakers together to discuss useful technology and techniques for the online travel industry. Both AVVIO and NHLA hope to provide online marketing and hotel technology information updates, as well as additional opportunities to the state of Nevada and surrounding areas.

“Bringing together a large group of hospitality decision makers, marketers, booking sites and technology providers will help strengthen the already very successful operations of lodging facilities around Nevada,” stated Joan Heffner, executive VP for NHLA.  “It is a pleasure partnering with AVVIO to offer this informative conference.  NHLA continues to develop strategies to help improve processes such as marketing and booking to welcome travelers to Nevada, while also working to keep the hospitality careers many of our residents hold secure.”

AVVIO has built an impressive international client and partner base in it’s 10 years of business, including: Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Louvre Hotels, Trip Advisor, Review Pro and Hertz Car Rental, among others.
