SARGENT Introduces Harmony 7000 Series Multi-Point Integrated Wiegand Lock at ISC WEST 2013

The new lock combines the exceptional security of Harmony Series access control with an elegant locking solution for applications where exit devices are not required, such as conference rooms and auxiliary doors.  The 7000 series is a concealed vertical rod lock that features an expanded list of functions to accommodate various applications.

Featuring ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 hardware with direct Wiegand output, the Harmony 7000 Series consolidates all standard electronic access control components into the lock.  This not only reduces installation time and costs, but also ensures a clean, streamlined appearance that blends with any environment.

The Harmony 7000 Series can be configured for a wide variety of applications. It is ideal for situations where exit devices are not required, including conference rooms, commercial office buildings, convention centers as well as medical and educational facilities. The 7000 Series features two latching points with concealed vertical rods providing added protection for exterior double doors that are subject to abuse or vandalism. The Harmony 7000 Series also offers electric latch retraction capabilities, which makes it ideal for applications where traffic flow is heavy.

The Harmony 7000 Series supports HID® 125 kHz Prox or 13.56 MHz iCLASS® credentials and offers full monitoring capabilities and an open architecture platform. In addition to the 7000 Series multi-point lock, Harmony is also available in mortise lock, cylindrical lock, and exit device configurations.

The 7000 Series lock is ADA compliant and available with a choice of SARGENT’s Studio Collection levers to match any architectural environment. It is available for aluminum, metal and wood doors including narrow stile, each supporting the NB (no-bottom) option for top rod only latching. The 7000 Series is UL-listed for fire-rated, windstorm and hurricane metal door applications.

SARGENT® Wins 2011 GOOD DESIGN® Award

The GOOD DESIGN Awards were announced by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Center for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. Finalists were chosen from several thousand of the world’s leading manufacturers, corporations, industrial design offices, architects and graphic and packaging designers. The GOOD DESIGN award program honors worldwide design innovation, vision, sustainability and the competitive design edge.

SARGENT was also recognized in 2009 and 2010, making this the third year in a row the company received this prestigious award.
