Mitsubishi Showcases Instant Printing Solutions at IAAPA 2011

Orlando, FL – November 14, 2011 – For the first time, Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America, Inc. will exhibit at the 2011 IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando, Florida, Nov. 14-18.  The company will feature its full line of professional and event photo printers along with its new Mini Photobook Maker and DPS Kiosk 7000.  Mitsubishi Electric’s photo printers are the solution for those seeking increased revenue through instant, high-quality photo prints. Mitsubishi Electric’s booth is #3477 in the New Exhibitor Pavilion.

A highlight of Mitsubishi Electric’s participation is the introduction of the new 2×6” multi-cut function, recently added to its compact, single-deck CP-D70DW and dual-deck CP-D707DW professional photo printers.  The new 2 x 6” multi-cut function produces the familiar 2×6” photo strips, making the printer ideal for photo booth applications.   Both printers have an incredibly sharp print resolution of 300 dpi with along with advanced print head technology to strengthen image clarity and sharpness.  The dual-deck, CP-D707DW is one printer with two separate paper paths. This enables it to load two different paper sixes to print a variety of pages at the same time, or increase the same media-size print speeds by about 40%.

Mitsubishi Electric’s DPS Kiosk 7000 and Mini Photobook Maker takes a customer’s photo files, downloaded from the Web or a photo storage device, to instantly create and print a 2×6”  pocket-sized, Mini Photobook for sharing or giving as a gift. The DPS Kiosk 7000 can also be configured with a variety of other Mitsubishi Electric photo printers to offer a full array of self-serve photo kiosk printing solutions.

“Mitsubishi dye-sub printers produce a completely dry, high-resolution photo without expensive inks or chemicals,” said Brandon Tarnow, brand manager, Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America.  “At the 2011 IAPPA Attractions Expo, we expect a great response to the new 2×6” multi-cut function just added to the CP-D70DW and CP-D707DW – our most popular event printers ever.”

“The key to bringing in and retaining customers is to offer a product or service that will set your business apart,” said James Chan, VP Marketing Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America. “Mitsubishi gives you both with its full line of high-speed, high-volume professional photo printers and revenue generating photo kiosks.”
