Orlando, FL – November 16, 2011 – Underscoring its ability to give professional photographers a unique range of photo imaging tools to strengthen their business, Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America, Inc. is showcasing Ingenuity LLC’s recent work with LucasArts and Microsoft Studios.

Every year GameStop, one of America’s largest video game retail outlets, holds an annual meeting for its employees. This year, in coordination with Microsoft Studios, LucasArts previewed a new Star Wars game station.  As the first to see the new platform, the company wanted to provide some additional items for GameStop employees to take home as keepsakes.

This is where the services of Ingenuity LLC became paramount. Known as a leader in event photography, Ingenuity was hired to produce high-quality, instant color photos for the on-site, game debut. Using a Star Wars themed backdrop along with actual Star Wars characters, GameStop employees had their photos taken and received a print just seconds later. Using a Mitsubishi CP-9810DW, over 700 unique photos were printed in just a four-hour period. Each print was pre-branded with Star Wars KINECT, LucasArts and Microsoft Studios logos.

“Our goal has always been to be as quick and efficient as possible. Using the Mitsubishi printer we can take a photo and give them the print in 15 seconds,” said Steve Immer, owner of Ingenuity LLC. “Mitsubishi enables us to go as fast as possible. It allows us to survive under stressful conditions.”

“It’s always great to hear professionals in the field speak about their positive experiences with our printers,” said James Chan, VP Marketing Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America. “Our goal is to keep their business booming, with our printers providing that source of income and growth.”

IRVINE, Calif. — November 14, 2011 — Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America announces a mail-in offer valued up to $225 (MSLP) for its newest professional photo printers, the CP-D70DW and the dual-deck CP-D707DW. Mitsubishi will send a free box of CK-D746 (4×6”) or CK-D757 (5×7”) media for each CP-D70 series printer purchased through December 31, 2011 with proof of purchase.

The single-deck, CP-D70DW and dual-deck, CP-D707DW, are compact, high-speed, high-capacity professional photo printers ideally suited for a variety of applications including event, studio and high-speed photo printing.  At only 23 lbs. the CP-D70DW printer delivers a brilliant 4×6” photo in only 8.4 seconds.  The larger CP-D707DW dual-deck printer produces 4×6” photos in an average of 5.9 seconds when the same media is loaded in both paper paths.  Or, the same size media can be loaded into each of the dual-deck printer’s two paper paths to produce two different print sizes.*

Mitsubishi Electric recently added a 2×6” multi-cut function** to the CP-D70 series printers. Along with photo editing software, this new function produces the familiar 2×6” photo strips, making the printer perfect for photo booth applications. Both printers have an incredibly sharp print resolution of 300 dpi along with advanced print head technology that augments image clarity and sharpness.  Mitsubishi Electric’s CP-D70 series printers offer the same superior output and reliability of Mitsubishi’s other models, but with a much smaller footprint.

“This free media with purchase promotion is an opportunity to show our customers how much we appreciate and value their business,” said James Chan, VP Marketing Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America. “It’s a way to say ‘thank you’ while encouraging photographers to expand their businesses and increase their revenues through Mitsubishi products.”
